I am a passionate, creative programmer looking for my next developer role. I have experience with fullstack development, but really succeed in the realm of ui/ux design and frontend development.
I am familiar with the software development lifecycle and agile development. My current role does bi-weekly sprints with a focus on providing new accessible features to users while maintaining scalability. I am also a certified scrum master who is versed in version control and best practices for agile methodologies.
Ability to take an idea and flesh it out from a concept, to a fully functional webpage. This resume site is actually completely constructed using HTML, CSS, and vanilla Javascript. The icons are edited and scaled using Adobe Illustrator, and a combination of Git Bash and Github are used to control various implementations and version control.
I have experience with creating responsive and adaptive designed components, a good understanding of SEO principles, as well as a good functional knowledge of object oriented programming principles.
I continuously submitted well written code during weekly sprints. I performed code reviews for peer submitted code, and I designed and implemented the UI/UX for revenue\property management software.
I created prototypes to do user testing before coding the product for market which led to fundamental redesigns to better the user experience
I designed and implemented container and presentational components (as Stateless and Functional Components when applicable). This was accomplished with React.js and JSX, while heavily relying on ES6 new features like: Arrow Functions, Object Destructuring, Spread Operator, ES6 Classes, Promise, Async\Await, Let\Const, and Template Literals
Tech Stack: SQL, Python, Axios, React\JSX. BitBucket\Azure
In addition to standard engineering duties (e.g. code review, testing, planning, etc.), I focused heavily on meeting WCAG 2.0 guidelines for A and AA standards within our browser SDK for virtual try-on
Implemented multiple localizations, worked with `getUserMedia()`/camera access and emphasized compatibility for mobile and desktop devices.
Improved team output by advising on scrum topics and implementing granular stories for easier pointing and quicker development. This led to a significant increase in completed story points and decreased time to release.
Current Project: Browser SDK for trying on virtual eyewear.
